Areas and perimetres. How could we teach them?

First of all, we have been watching a video in which they explained that the best way to explain areas and perimeters is the use of manipulative resources. When we work with this kind of tools, we can develop our knowledge due to our interest in learning. This way, we are focused on manipulate objects but we forget we are learning at the same time.

With the use of some videos, we will catch the attention of our students. For example, we will show them this video 

With a song, they can better learn the contents. However...Why students are confused with areas and perimeters? Because they have more difficulties in the sizes of contour than the sizes of the area.
We will show them a summary about perimeters and areas.
